December 31st – Revelation 12:5

Revelation 12:5

Being God’s chosen people puts a bullseye on the backs of Israel. She is sorely hated by Satan, for through her was born Jesus, the promised Messiah. Even now Israel faces constant attacks from the Enemy. But one day God promises to throw Israel’s adversaries at her feet and His people will know peace forever. For soon the born Lamb of God, Jesus Christ, will return as the great conquering Lion of Judah. He will set up His earthly kingdom, and the King will perfectly rule with a rod of iron.
