Hebrews 10:25
I once read that as Christians, our relationships should be both vertical and horizontal. Of course first and foremost is our relationship with the Lord. But our horizontal relationships with fellow believers are just as important. For God never meant the Christian walk to be a solo journey. And living in a fallen world ruled by the Enemy, means we need all the support we can get. Support from godly men and women with the same goal; living lives that glorify God. As the time for Jesus’ return grows closer, the days grow darker. That’s why the love and fellowship from Christians to encourage, edify, teach, and worship each other is so important. So we until that glorious day when we are called to be by His side, we can be the church Christ intends us to be!
