Supreme Court Upholds Texas Abortion Law
In a win for prolife supporters, and unborn babies in Texas, the U.S. Supreme Court late Wednesday night refused to block a Texas law banning abortions after six weeks of pregnancy. The Texas heartbeat Act, prohibits an abortion if a fetal heartbeat is detected, allowing exceptions for medical emergencies. The law took effect as the Supreme Court prepares to hear oral arguments this fall in a major case involving a Mississippi pro-life law that bans abortion after the 15th week of a woman’s term. Christians Being Compared To Taliban
Many in Hollywood and the left leaning media, are comparing Christians to the barbaric terrorist group, the Taliban. Twice in one week, senior pundits at MSNBC have compared Christians to the Taliban. And filmmaker Michael Moore about Christianity and the Taliban tweeted, “They said they are going to operate under Islamic law. That’s exactly how a lot of Southern Baptists want it to be here too.” Christians and conservatives were quick to push back against the comparison as hyperbolic. At least 3,000 medical Professionals Sue Biden Administration Over Transgender Mandate
Over 3,000 pediatricians have filed suit against the Biden administration for a health care mandate that would require medical professionals to provide gender-related services despite medical objections. Under Biden’s Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, objections to treating children with gender-related therapies would be considered discrimination. Dr. Jeanie Dassow of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and the American College of Pediatricians and the Catholic Medical Association filed the suit last week in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Brave Teen Rushes To Save People In Burning Building
Lily Swanson had been walking the family’s Rottweiler close to their home when a strong burning smell in Hough Lane, England made her stop in her tracks. She looked around for the cause and spotted black smoke spilling out of a window above a clothes shop. Lily ran home to wake her dad and called emergency services. Lily’s dad Mike Swanson, 42, grabbed his ladders and ran to the scene to help those trapped inside. Minutes later, the flat was ablaze.
