Pro-Life Supporters Pleased With Abortion Case Hearing
Tensions are high between pro-choice and pro-life supporters. The US supreme court heard oral arguments on Wednesday in the most significant abortion rights case since the landmark 1973 supreme court ruling in Roe v Wade which effectively legalized abortion in the US. Legal experts from the center and the left both said the oral arguments heard went well for pro-lifers. The case involves a Mississippi law that prohibits abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy except in situations of medical emergencies and fetal abnormality. Donors Give $1.6 Million To Man Wrongly Convicted
Donors from around the world have given more than $1.6 million to Kevin Strickland, who was exonerated of a triple murder and released from prison last week after more than four decades behind bars. Though he suffered the state’s longest known wrongful conviction, he cannot collect recompense from the state. So a go-Fund me account was set up in is name.
