After exiled in Babylon for more than 70 years, the people of Israel were finally going home. Philippians 4:6

In a year filled with chaos and turmoil, it’s no wonder so many of us are battling anxiety and worry. But as Christians we aren’t alone. God wants to fight the battle for us. He tells not to be troubled, but instead turn to Him and in prayer, lay the sorrows of our hearts at His feet. For God cares about every aspect of the lives of His children, both big and small. November 22nd – Colossians  3:16

Colossians  3:16

God never intended the Christian walk to be a solo one. We are all members of a divine family, and us such we are meant for fellowship with one another. Why? Because a big part of growing in our relationship with the Lord depends on the encouragement, love, grace, and teaching from other Believers. We are brothers and sisters in Christ, that make up God’s heavenly choir. A choir which sings in harmony together, songs that spring forth from hearts overflowing with thankfulness for all the Lord does and all He is.

November 21st – Jonah 2:9

Jonah 2:9

Jonah learned the hard way that when God tells us to do something, running away is never the answer. Sometimes God asks things of us that we might not understand, or don’t want to do. But if we’re truly serious about seeing the will of god done, we will obey.; no matter what. For God’s ways are perfect, His reasoning above ours. And in thanksgiving for all He has given us, including His only Son, with shouts of grateful praise, we should eagerly do all the Lord calls us to do.

1 Chronicles 29:14

Every good thing we have in our lives is a gift from God. And He blesses us not because we are special or worthy, but because He is our loving Father who gives to His children freely and generously. And out of a heart of thankfulness we in turn need to be cheerful givers. For everything we give back to God was His to begin with. And remembering the Lord as the source of everything good, fills our hearts with generosity and the desire to show the same mercy to others God shows to us each and every day!

Hebrews 12:28

The most important part of a house is the foundation. A strong foundation not only protects the outside of the house from nature and its calamities, it also helps provide safety for the people dwelling inside. As Christians, the best foundation we can have is one built around God. For He gives us unshakable strength and security no matter the severity of the storm raging around us. We never have to fear, for no crack or break can ever be found in the foundation of the Lord’s love, grace, and faithfulness. To Him goes the glory!
