Anxious

May 13th – Psalm 23:2

Psalm 23:2

Our Heavenly Father doesn’t drive us like a taskmaster. He leads us like a Shepherd, gently guiding us to rest, not rush. When the world screams “hustle harder,” God whispers, “Come and lie down.” He leads us beside still waters, not raging rapids. His pace is peace. Sometimes we think busyness proves our worth. But God is more interested in the condition of our soul than the length of our to-do list. He invites us to breathe, to be, and to trust that resting in Him is not weakness. It’s worship. In His presence, our anxious hearts slow down. We trade pressure for peace, chaos for calm, and striving for surrender. The still waters God leads us to aren’t just beautiful scenery. They’re healing places where we remember who He is and who we are. The Lord restores what the pace of life tries to steal. And even when we’re unsure of the path ahead we can rest knowing our Shepherd always knows the way. Peace isn’t a place we find. It’s the Person we follow.

April 20th – John 20:19-22

John 20:19-22

Locked doors couldn’t keep Jesus out, and fear couldn’t keep Him away. In John 20:19–22, we find the disciples huddled together, afraid and uncertain. But then Jesus came and stood among them. And His first words? “Peace be with you.” He didn’t shame them for their fear or doubt. He met them right where they were in their trembling, in their hiding, in their confusion. And He offered peace. The same Jesus steps into our anxious hearts today, through locked doors of worry and walls built by pain. He breathes peace into our chaos and reminds us we are not alone. His presence changes everything. It strengthens what’s weak, calms what’s restless, and assures us that no situation is too dark for His light. Jesus didn’t wait for the disciples to be brave. He came in their weakness. And He comes to us the same way. Will we let Him in? Will we receive His peace and let it settle over every storm within?

March 29th – Isaiah 42:16

Isaiah 42:16

Things don’t always go the way we planned. Just when we think we have it figured out, life throws a monkey wrench into the mix. We’re left feeling worried, anxious, and unsure of what’s ahead. The path feels unfamiliar. The next step becomes unclear, and fear whispers to us that we’re alone. But God sees what we cannot. He promises to lead us even when we feel blind to what’s next. When the road is rough and overwhelming, God is the One who makes it smooth. When darkness surrounds us, He is the light that guides our way.

We don’t have to rely on our own understanding. We can trust the One who never loses His way. Even when we feel lost, God knows exactly where we are. He is walking beside us, clearing the path, working things out in ways we can’t yet see. The Lord is faithful to lead, and He will not forsake us. So take a deep breath. Let go of the fear, and trust that He is making a way for you, even now. You are not forgotten. You are not alone. God is guiding you, one step at a time.
