Blueprint For Life

July 5th – James 1:25

James 1:25

Spending time daily in Scripture is vital for our Christian walk. Not just a blueprint for life, the Bible reveals God’s character, wisdom, and will for our lives. It provides spiritual nourishment, guiding us through life’s complexities with divine insight. But the true power of God’s Word isn’t just in reading it but in applying its truths to our lives. This obedience liberates us from the bondage of sin, providing a freedom rooted in divine truth and leading to a life of integrity and purpose. By consistently living out the principles found in Scripture, we experience the blessings of spiritual freedom. Blessings like peace, joy, and a clear sense of direction. This freedom allows us to navigate life’s challenges with confidence, knowing we are walking in God’s will. In essence, the freedom that comes from obeying God’s Word enriches our relationship with Him and empowers us to live a life that reflects His love and righteousness. Allowing us to ultimately lead a more fulfilled and blessed existence.

May 8th – Ephesians 4:22-24

Ephesians 4:22-24

After we receive Jesus as our Savior, He doesn’t leave us floundering out on our own in the world. Or asking, “What’s next?” Instead He gives us His Spirit to guide us, and His Word as a blueprint for life. And here in Ephesians, Paul tells us how we can live a life of victory and one the glorifies the Lord. He begins by telling us that as believers we are united with Jesus, who now sits at the right hand of God. And as such, it’s time to get rid of the old and put on the new. Time to shed our old clothes of disobedience, sin, and earthly living. Time to dress as the royalty we are and put on our new clothes of righteousness. For we are citizens of heaven and should dress like it. No longer are we to wear the filthy rags of immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, but rather the designer clothes of glory that reflect “those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved.” (Col. 3:12)

March 19th – 2 Timothy 3:16

2 Timothy 3:16

Many are the ways and forms in which God sends us help, and one of the most powerful is His Word. And what a blessing is the Bible. No wonder it’s the best selling book of all time! For it contains the history of creation, the Good News of Jesus Christ, and the wonderful promises of God. Beyond that the Bible is also a blueprint for life, giving us valuable advice and practical applications for any and all situations. And when we follow it’s wisdom we can’t go wrong. For far from being a book written by man, every word is divinely inspired by God Himself. And it’s benefits include life teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness. If we want to deepen our faith and relationship with the Lord, spend time in His Word. Because not only will it help us live according to God’s will, it helps us understand God’s plan for our lives.

May 30th – Hebrews 4:12

Hebrews 4:12

Many are the ways and forms in which God sends us help. And one of the most powerful is His Word. The Bible contains the history of creation, the Good News of Jesus Christ, and the wonderful promises of God. It’s also a blueprint for life, giving us valuable advice and practical applications for any and all situations. Abraham Lincoln is quoted as saying, “I believe the Bible is the best book God has ever given to man. All the good of the Savior of the world is communicated to us through the Book”. I couldn’t agree more. No matter what I’m going through, God’s Word is there. It’s the first place I turn to when I am afraid, weary, lost, happy, and most of all, when I want to be close to God. It fills me with joy, nurtures my soul, heals my wounds, and protects me from the Enemy’s attacks. More than just a good book, the Bible is God’s life preserver to all and instruction manual for life!
