Clarity

May 30th – John 17:17

John 17:17

In a world that constantly tells us to “live your truth,” it’s easy to believe that truth is something we create for ourselves. But real truth isn’t found in opinions, feelings, or shifting trends. It’s found in the unchanging Word of God. Jesus prayed, “Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth.” That means Scripture isn’t just a helpful guide. It’s the ultimate authority, the standard by which everything else is measured. It shapes corrects, and leads us into freedom.

While the world may blur the lines between right and wrong, God’s Word draws them with clarity and love. When we’re unsure, His truth gives us confidence. When culture screams its version of what’s acceptable, His Word whispers eternity. Truth doesn’t change with the times, it changes us. It anchors our identity, our purpose, and our future. In the noise of the world, God’s voice is the one we can trust. Don’t settle for truth that shifts. Hold on to the truth that sanctifies, saves, and stands forever.

September 25th – Proverbs 4:11

Week 5 – Wisdom In Following God (Proverbs 4:11)

They say the shortest distance between two points is a straight line, and that’s how our walk with Jesus is meant to be. From the moment we receive Him as our Savior, we embark on a spiritual journey. A lifetime path intended to mature, grow, and deepen our faith. However life has a way of knocking us off course with the twists and turns of distractions, temptations, and challenges. No wonder so many take a wrong path, feel lost, and far away from God. But king Solomon was the wisest of all kings. And in Proverbs 4:11 he reminds us of God’s even greater, infinite, wisdom. A precious wisdom always there to guide us and give us a long, good life. When we stumble all we have to do is pick ourselves up, dust off the setbacks, and refocus on Jesus. And no matter how far we’ve wandered, when we come back to Him with a repentant heart, our Lord is there to direct us back on track, making our paths straight once again. He is our loving guide. The one who brings clarity to the journey when we trust Him.

Questions For Reflection

  1. How can we rely on God’s wisdom to guide us back to the right path when we feel lost or distracted in life?
  1. In what ways can we stay focused on Jesus to ensure our spiritual walk remains steady and strong despite life’s challenges?

Let God’s wisdom be your compass, and He’ll always guide you on the straight and steady path. 🙏🏻❤️

September 21st – Luke 21:15

Week 3 – Wisdom In Defense (Luke 21:15)

Standing in our faith can be hard. Especially when we are called to defend what we believe. But thankfully we have the promise of Jesus. He tells us that when the time comes He’ll give us, “words and wisdom” that no adversary can refute or resist. In today’s world where we face criticism and mockery of our beliefs, this assurance offers us great comfort. So when others disparage our character or question our faith, we don’t need to respond with anger or defensiveness. Instead we can trust that God will give us the wisdom and grace to speak with love and clarity. Our testimonies, whether in conversations with friends or in moments of public defense, become opportunities for God to shine through us. We can be grateful that in these moments, the Lord is with us, empowering us to stand firm. The wisdom He provides allows us to respond in a way that glorifies Him and opens hearts, even amidst opposition. Our call is not to rely on our own ability but to lean on His promise that He will equip us when we need it most.

Questions For Reflection –

  1. How can we trust God’s promise in Luke 21:15 to give us the right words and wisdom when we face criticism or opposition for our faith?
  1. In what ways can we prepare our hearts to speak with love and grace, relying on God’s wisdom instead of our own, when we are called to share our testimony or defend our beliefs?

Don’t worry about finding the right words. God will give you the wisdom to speak with grace when the moment comes! 🙏🏻❤️

September 13th – 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Week 2 – Wisdom In Health (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

As followers of Jesus, we have the incredible honor and privilege of the Spirit of the living God dwelling within us. That means our bodies aren’t just physical vessels, but temples of the Holy Spirit entrusted to us by the Lord. And the apostle Paul tells us this should impact the way we view ourselves. For we are called to a higher standard of care and respect for our bodies. Eating right, exercising, and nurturing our health aren’t just personal choices but acts of wise stewardship. When we honor our physical bodies, we honor God, recognizing that we’ve been bought at a great price. Purchased through the blood and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Therefore, we are to glorify God in both our bodies and spirits. Taking care of our health equips us to serve Him fully, with energy, clarity, and strength. It’s not about vanity or superficial goals, but about valuing the temple God has given us. So that we can live long, fulfilling lives, carrying out His purpose and reflecting His glory in all we do.

Questions For Reflection –

  1. How can we honor God by taking better care of our bodies, knowing they are temples of the Holy Spirit?
  1. In what areas of our physical, mental, or spiritual health can we practice greater stewardship to glorify God more fully in our daily lives?

Your body is a temple, a sacred space where the Spirit of God dwells. Nurture it, cherish it, and let it shine for His glory! 🙏🏻❤️

Week 2 – Wisdom In Time Management (Ephesians 5:15-16)

In these last days before the return of Jesus, the apostle Paul encourages us to approach life with wisdom and mindfulness. He reminds us that every moment is a gift, and each opportunity holds significance. In a world filled with sin and distractions, it’s easy to just drift through life. But as followers of Jesus, we’re called to live intentionally. To make the most of every chance we’re given. Time is precious, and opportunities may come and go swiftly. By seeking God’s wisdom, we can navigate life’s decisions with clarity, ensuring that our actions align with His will. When we’re mindful of our time and choices, we not only honor God but also maximize our potential to impact those around us for good. Whether in our relationships, work, or personal growth, being purposeful in how we spend our days allows us to make a lasting difference. Life is too short to waste, so let’s approach each day with intentionality. And seek to bring glory to God in all that we do.

Questions For Reflection

  1. How can we ensure that we are making the most of our time and opportunities each day, staying focused on what truly matters in light of God’s purpose for us?
  1. What steps can we take to be more intentional and mindful in our actions, making decisions with wisdom that align with God’s will?

Walk wisely, for each step you take is a chance to shine God’s light and make the most of every moment! 🙏🏻❤️

September 7th – Job 28:17

Week 1 – The Wealth of Wisdom (Job 28:17)

Gold and crystal are rare and beautiful treasures highly valued by the world. Yet Job insists that wisdom far surpasses them in worth. Because Gold, no matter how pure, and crystal, no matter how flawless, are ultimately material and finite. But wisdom, on the other hand, holds a deeper, spiritual significance that can’t be mined, purchased, or measured in earthly terms. It’s not something we can obtain through effort or wealth. It’s a divine gift from God alone. One that guides our lives with moral clarity and eternal perspective. While gold and crystal may adorn the outside, wisdom transforms the heart and soul. That’s why true riches can never be found in the material things of the world. And why wisdom’s value is immeasurable. Because it leads us to righteousness, truth, and a life aligned with God’s will. Something no earthly treasure can ever match.

Questions For Reflection

  1. How can we shift our focus from seeking material wealth to pursuing the wisdom that comes from God, which is far more valuable and lasting?
  1. In what practical ways can we seek and embrace wisdom in our daily decisions, prioritizing spiritual growth over worldly success?

Gold may shine, but wisdom sparkles in the soul. Its value is beyond measure. 🙏🏻❤️

July 8th – Matthew 6:34

Matthew 6:34

Trusting God grants us profound freedom by releasing us from the grip of anxiety and fear about the future. When we trust in His sovereignty and love, we are liberated from the paralyzing effects of worry, allowing us to live in the present with peace and confidence. This trust involves acknowledging that God is in control, and His plans are good, even when the future seems uncertain. Surrendering our worries to Him means actively choosing to lay down our anxieties through prayer and faith, believing that He cares for us and will provide for our needs. By focusing on God’s faithfulness today, we avoid the mental and emotional burden of speculating about what might happen tomorrow. This daily act of trust not only brings inner peace but also aligns our hearts with God’s will, enabling us to respond to today’s challenges with clarity and strength. July 6th – John 8:32

John 8:32

The truth of God’s Word is a powerful force that liberates us from the deception and lies of the Enemy. When we immerse ourselves in Scripture, we discover God’s character, promises, and the identity He gives us. This divine truth acts as a light that exposes deceit, false teachers, and wrong gospels. It helps us to recognize and reject the Enemy’s deceitful tactics designed to lead us away from the Lord. Lies about our worth, purpose, and God’s love are torn down by the truth of Scripture, which affirms our value, directs our path, and reassures us of God’s unwavering love. By embracing and living according to this truth, we break free from the chains of fear, doubt, and confusion that Satan seeks to impose. Instead when we are deeply anchored to God’s promises, we experience clarity, peace, and freedom that come from a life grounded in truth. This freedom empowers us to resist temptation, make godly decisions, and stand firm in our faith, ultimately leading to a life that reflects the liberating power of God’s truth.

April 15th – 1 John 1:7

1 John 1:7

I love the quote by Dodi  Smith which says, “I suppose the best kind of spring morning is the best weather God has to offer.” There’s nothing better than a spring dawn overflowing with sunshine. So as the days grow longer and the light shines brighter, let us heed the call of John to walk in the light of Christ. For it’s in His radiance, we find guidance, clarity, and the path to righteousness. May we embrace His divine light, allowing it to permeate every aspect of our lives. In fellowship with one another, let us share in the warmth of His love, strengthening and uplifting each other along the journey. And let us recognize the profound sacrifice of Jesus, as His blood cleanses us from all sin. Because it’s through His redemptive act that we find restoration, forgiveness, and the promise of eternal life. As we bask in the light of His grace, may our hearts be filled with gratitude and our spirits renewed with hope. Let us walk confidently in His light, knowing that in Him, we find true freedom and everlasting peace.
