Dark

October 7th – Psalm 126:6

Psalm 126:6

There are seasons when the soil of our hearts feels dry and heavy with sorrow. Times when every prayer feels like a seed buried in the dark. But God sees the tears we’ve sown, and not one is wasted. Sometimes we walk through valleys with aching hearts. We wonder how anything beautiful could possibly come from the pain. But Scripture reminds us that what is planted in tears will one day be harvested in joy. The same God who allows the storm also sends the sun to break through the clouds. He takes what feels buried forever and brings forth new life with hope, healing, and peace. Every season of weeping has a purpose. And every seed of faith we’ve planted will bear fruit in His time. So keep walking, keep trusting, and keep sowing even when it hurts. One day, we’ll look back and realize that the tears we thought were our breaking point were actually watering our breakthrough. God’s timing is perfect, and harvest is coming. And when it does, our hearts will sing songs of joy only Heaven could write.

May 23rd – John 8:12

John 8:12

When Jesus said, “I am the light of the world,” He wasn’t just offering illumination. He was offering hope, direction, and life itself. In a world that often feels dark, confusing, and lonely, His light is steady, never flickering. When we walk with Jesus, we don’t stumble aimlessly. We’re guided by truth and grace. He lights the path when our hearts are heavy, when the future feels uncertain, and when fear tries to take hold. His presence becomes the lamp to our feet. One that shows us the next step even when we can’t see the whole road. Darkness may threaten, but it can never overcome His light. In Jesus, we find the courage to keep going. In Him, we see our worth, our purpose, and our home. He doesn’t just shine around us, He shines within us. So when the world feels overwhelming, remember this. You carry the light of Christ. Let it glow in your kindness, your peace, and your boldness to believe when it’s hard. You were never meant to walk in shadows. With Jesus, you always walk in light.

April 27th – Zechariah 10:1

Zechariah 10:1

We are living in violent, angry, and turbulent times. Where love, unity, and understanding are in short supply. Yet as the days grow more evil, they won’t always be so. Zechariah 10:1 foretells of the coming of spring rains, a beacon of hope amidst the darkness of injustice that plagues our world. Right now, everywhere we look we see the flames of injustice burning bright, casting shadows of despair upon our hearts. We cry out, “Maranatha! Come, Lord Jesus!” And come He will. One day very soon, Christ will come for His bride. And on that day, God’s justice will descend upon the earth, washing away the stains of injustice and bringing forth renewal and restoration. As we eagerly anticipate the arrival of spring, let us also eagerly await the day when God’s justice will rain down. Bringing healing to the broken, freedom to the oppressed, and righteousness to the land. May our hearts be filled with hope and courage, knowing that God is faithful to His promises and that His justice will prevail in the end.
