June 23rd – Isaiah 41:10
I love that God doesn’t tell us, “Don’t ever feel afraid.” He knows we’re human. He knows there will be moments when life feels overwhelming, uncertain, and even frightening. Instead, He says, “Fear not.” In other words, don’t let fear take control because you are not facing life’s battles alone.
We live in a broken world filled with evil, hardship, disappointment, and uncertainty. There are things that can make us anxious and circumstances we cannot control. But God’s answer to our fear is His presence. He reminds us, “I am with thee.” The same God who created the heavens and the earth walks beside us through every trial, every heartache, and every storm.
When fear whispers that we won’t make it, God reminds us that He is our strength. When we feel weak, He upholds us. When we don’t know which way to go, He guides our steps. We may not always know what tomorrow holds, but we can face it with confidence because we know who holds tomorrow.
Whatever you are facing today, remember this: you are not walking through it by yourself. God is right beside you, carrying you when you are weary, strengthening you when you are weak, and walking with you every step of the way. Because of that, we can choose faith over fear and trust the One who never leaves our side.
