End Times

October 21st – Revelation 14:15

Revelation 14:15

The day is coming when the fields of this world will be ripe for harvest. When heaven’s trumpet will sound, and Jesus will step forward to gather His own. Can you imagine that moment? The waiting will be over, the pain of this world behind us, and every promise of God fulfilled before our eyes. The final harvest isn’t something to fear. It’s the hope we cling to. And the joy that keeps us steady when the world feels heavy. Each act of faith, each prayer, each quiet moment of obedience is a seed being sown for eternity. And when that glorious day comes, those seeds will bloom into the beauty of redemption fully realized. The weary will rejoice, the faithful will rise, and every heart that trusted in Jesus will be gathered safely home. Until then, we keep our eyes lifted and our hearts ready, living each day as laborers in His field. The harvest is coming soon. And oh, what a glorious day that will be when the Lord of the Harvest calls us home.

October 17th – Ephesians 6:11

Ephesians 6:11

With the time growing close to our Lord’s return, life can feel like a battlefield. The Enemy slings his arrows ferociously. He attacks through struggles, doubts, and spiritual assaults that seem to come out of nowhere. But God never asks us to face a single day unprotected. He equips us with His mighty armor. The armor of truth to guard our minds, righteousness to cover our hearts, faith to shield us from fiery darts, and His Word as the sword that cuts through every lie. We weren’t meant to fight in our own strength, but to stand firm in His. Every piece of armor reminds us that victory isn’t found in striving, but in surrendering to the One who already won. When we suit up in God’s strength, we don’t just survive the battles, we grow through them. We become more like Christ, standing firm, joyfully working for the Lord, and shining His light in a dark world. The day is coming when the battle will end, and Jesus will return in glory. But until then, we stand not in fear, but in faith, fully armed and ready.

October 10th – Revelation 19:7

Revelation 19:7

There’s something sacred about the anticipation that fills the air before a wedding. When every detail has been lovingly prepared and every heart waits in breathless joy for the moment the bride begins her walk down the aisle. That’s the picture God paints of His Church. A bride beautifully prepared for her Groom. We are living in the end times, waiting for that glorious day when Jesus returns. But this waiting isn’t wasted time, it’s holy preparation. Every act of love, every moment of faithfulness, and every quiet prayer is part of getting ready for that heavenly celebration. Meaning we’re not just passing time. We’re being refined, adorned in grace, and made radiant by His righteousness. The world may not understand our waiting, but we wait with joy because we know the Bridegroom is coming. One day, we’ll hear heaven’s celebration ring out, and every tear and trial will be redeemed. Until then, may our hearts stay steadfast, our lamps burning bright, and our eyes fixed on the One who calls us His beloved.

May 25th – Daniel 12:4

Daniel 12:4

In today’s world unprecedented advancements in technology, communication, and transportation, are made daily. And the rapid speed in which information reaches the world, along with the increase of people traveling globally, align with Daniel’s prophetic vision. As Christians, the fast path of progress should heighten our awareness that we are living in significant times. The expansion of knowledge also includes a deeper understanding of biblical prophecies. This urges us to diligently study Scripture and discern the signs of the times. To recognize the season and the urgency of sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ to a desperate and lost world. God’s command to Daniel to, “shut up the words and seal the book” reminds us that God’s plans are unfolding according to His divine timetable. In this age of constant change, we must be steadfast in our faith. And be grounded in the truth of God’s Word. We must be vigilant, prayerful, and committed to walk with Christ, until the day He returns.

February 21st – Romans 13:12

Romans 13:12

Think back over the last few days. How much of what you did was based on the thought of the coming of the Lord? If you’re like me, you’ll have to admit, “Not much.” Because often I get caught up with day to day life, forgetting the big picture. That picture being Jesus is coming, and I should be living each day in light of that great future event. For Paul warns the time is near, and Christ’s return is coming closer with every passing moment. So we need to be alert, awake, and armed with the weapon of the Light of God’s truth. Meaning each day intentionally walking in obedience, sharing the Gospel, and most importantly of all, living in love. Time is ticking. Soon the darkness while be forever overcome by the Light. But until then, we must make good use of the time left, pointing others to the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

January 19th – Job 11:18

Job 11:18

The world today is in great need of hope. Everywhere we turn, we are inundated by news of tragedy, horror, and violence. As in the days of Noah, (Luke 17:26-27) people are openly sinning against God with no fear of the consequences. And although Christians around the world are sounding the alarm of the Lord’s soon return, the world mocks the message and the messengers. Yet as the world spins out of control, and people panic over the darkened days, we as followers of Christ have all we need to lead lives of encouragement and joy. For as Job 11:18 reminds us, “You will be secure, because there is hope; you will look about you and take your rest in safety.” One day very soon God will pour out His judgements on this wicked and rebellious world. Yet we can rejoice because those who put their faith in Christ, will never taste the bitterness of His wrath.

September 16th – Luke 21:28

Luke 21:28

Throughout history people have argued about the meaning and timing of the signs that would signal the soon return of Christ. But along with signs, Jesus also gave warnings about the approaching end times. First He warns us not to be misled. Many false prophets will come in His name saying, “I am He” and deceitful date setters will cry, “The time is near”.  By knowing what the Word of God says, we can be protected from wrong teachings. Next the Lord says prepare to be persecuted. Christians may experience betrayal, hatred, and death even at the hands of those we love. But we needn’t fear. For even if we lose our physical lives, we can rejoice knowing the reward of eternal life awaiting us. Finally Jesus tells us to be on guard. In patient anticipation of the glorious return of the Lord, we are to watch, pray, and most of all, guard our hearts. (Luke 21:36) I truly believe that the season of the Lord’s return is upon us. So, “straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near!”

September 4th – 2 Thessalonians 3:3

2 Thessalonians 3:3

Bible prophecy is being fulfilled at record speed before our very eyes. And many Bible scholars believe we are indeed living in the last days. Everyone can feel a shift happening. Christians are keeping their eyes on the skies, for they know their redemption draws near. Believers who may have put God on the back burner are now seeking Him with renewed interest. Even the secular world has become fascinated with what the Bible says about Armageddon. And as the return of the Lord grows closer, times will grow more evil. The fiery darts of the Enemy will fly fast and furious. For Satan knows he is living on borrowed time, and wants to inflict as much damage as he can. But like Paul, no matter how dark the world grows before the glorious dawn, we needn’t fear. Because the Lord is faithful. And until the time He calls us home, He will protect, provide, and bring good from bad.

September 8th – Amos 9:13

Amos 9:13

When you ask Bible prophecy experts what is the one thing that points to Christ’s soon return, most agree. It’s convergence. Meaning all of the signs of His soon appearance are happening together, and at break neck speed. And indeed God Himself warns, “Behold, days are coming.” The signs are everywhere, and we need to be aware and informed. For soon God’s judgement will be upon the world, and none will escape. It will be a season of great sorrow and destruction, and yet at the same time, a season of hope. Because God promises that after a time of punishment, comes a time of great blessing. The great Creator will restore His creation to its original perfection. And in that perfection there will be an overflowing of new wine, new gardens, and the abundance and beauty of the Lord’s restoration of His Church. So look up, hold your head high, for your redemption draws near. (Luke 21:28)
