God

January 25th – Isaiah 41:10

Isaiah 41:10

Life is full of change. But change is hard, and not all of it is good. Yet each day, through the good and bad, God is with us. He cares, and is actively involved in every aspect of our lives. The Lord strengthens us by sending the Holy Spirit to guide us, and His precious Word to direct our steps. And in His great mercy, when we cry out to Him, God will answer our call. For with His mighty right hand He upholds us in righteousness, and promises to never forsake us. So today and every day, be bold, be strong, and be fearless. For the Lord is with us and His unending love will never fail!

December 29th – Titus 3:5

Titus 3:5

The mercy and grace God shows to us can scarcely be described or imagined. And the unconditional love He has for His children is no more evident than in the sacrifice of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.  Once we were eternally separated from God, dead in our sin. But because God stopped at nothing to call us His, He sent His Son, who knew no sin, to pay the sin debt of the world. And from the moment we receive Jesus as our Savior, not only are adopted in the family of God, washed clean from our sins, we receive the gift of life eternal!

On this Christmas Day as we celebrate the birth of our Savior, let us echo the words of Paul. For not only in this holiday season, but each day, our wish for everyone is this. May the grace of Christ flow through you to everyone you meet. May the love of God shine through you in all that you do. And may your life be lead under the direction of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. On this, the most glorious of all days, we wish you the joy and love of God’s blessings. And come, let us adore Him!

December 23rd – John 3:16

John 3:16

No greater love can be shown to us, than the love given by God. He spared nothing to redeem us back to Himself, not even His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. And all He asks in return is our faith and love. So what happens when we believe that Jesus came to earth as God in the flesh, that He died and rose again, and receive Him as our Savior? Not only are we reconciled back to our Father in heaven, but as His beloved children God also offers eternal life spent by His side. How great are the gifts of God!

November 30th – Psalm 31:19

Psalm 31:19

Being called children of God comes with some pretty amazing perks. Not only does it offer the promise of an eternal life spent in His presence, God also promises wonderful things for those who receive Jesus as their Savior. In His goodness, God takes great joy in pouring out his storehouse of love and blessings on those He calls His own. And out of His unmerited grace, the Lord offers each of us protection from this world under His mighty wing. To God alone goes the praise and thankfulness for His love and mercy.

November 22nd – Colossians  3:16

Colossians  3:16

God never intended the Christian walk to be a solo one. We are all members of a divine family, and us such we are meant for fellowship with one another. Why? Because a big part of growing in our relationship with the Lord depends on the encouragement, love, grace, and teaching from other Believers. We are brothers and sisters in Christ, that make up God’s heavenly choir. A choir which sings in harmony together, songs that spring forth from hearts overflowing with thankfulness for all the Lord does and all He is.

November 20th – 1 Chronicles 29:14

1 Chronicles 29:14

Every good thing we have in our lives is a gift from God. And He blesses us not because we are special or worthy, but because He is our loving Father who gives to His children freely and generously. And out of a heart of thankfulness we in turn need to be cheerful givers. For everything we give back to God was His to begin with. And remembering the Lord as the source of everything good, fills our hearts with generosity and the desire to show the same mercy to others God shows to us each and every day!

November 17th – Hebrews 12:28

Hebrews 12:28

The most important part of a house is the foundation. A strong foundation not only protects the outside of the house from nature and its calamities, it also helps provide safety for the people dwelling inside. As Christians, the best foundation we can have is one built around God. For He gives us unshakable strength and security no matter the severity of the storm raging around us. We never have to fear, for no crack or break can ever be found in the foundation of the Lord’s love, grace, and faithfulness. To Him goes the glory!
