Jesus’ Love

Loving One Another – John 13

John 13

When you think of Jesus what’s the first thing that pops into your head? For me it’s His love. A love so strong, Jesus laid down His life to call me His own. And I in return love Him. But that isn’t enough. Because Jesus wants more than my love. He wants me to love others with the same passion that I reserve for Him alone. …

April 27th – John 15:9

John 15:9

It is often said the three most beautiful words one can hear are, “I love you.” And these words are what Jesus says to each of us as His beloved. But the love Christ has for us surpasses any other kind of worldly love we could ever know. For His is an all encompassing, unmerited, unconditional, and unmeasurable love. A love with no beginning, and no ending. One that is selfless, sacrificial, and beyond any love this world could offer. And better yet, Jesus wants to remain in His perfect love. Letting it guide, protect, and fill us with His precious grace and peace.

April 10th – John 14:21

John 14:21

One of the most wonderful qualities of God is love. And it was out of this great devotion that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to offer us eternal life. Now that in itself is an indescribable gift of love. But the great God we serve offers even more. For to those who receive Jesus as their Savior, God presents the opportunity to enjoy with Him an intimate, loving, personal relationship. Through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, and our obedience to His commands, the Lord reveals Himself in intimate ways that an unbelieving world could never experience!

April 7th – Galatians 3:28

Galatians 3:28

When Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence, he declared all men (and women), were created by God equally. And where did he get such a notion? From the Creator of all Himself, God. For it is the Lord who declares that He came not just to save a few, but to save all. And His love isn’t reserved for just His chosen favorites. Instead out of His great love for each and everyone of us, Jesus came and laid down His life so that any and all who believe on Him can have eternal life. And when we receive Him as our Savior, we become equal, adopted heirs into God’s kingdom and members of His one, single church.

April 4th – Ephesians 5:2

Ephesians 5:2

If there is one word that can sum up the life and ministry of Jesus, it’s love. And it was because of His great love that Jesus laid down His life as a ransom for all. So out of hearts of thankfulness for His sacrifice, we too need to lead that same life of love. Because love is one of the greatest fruits of the Spirit, and the best way we can represent our Savior on earth. And the daily grace, mercy and love the Lord shows us, we should be showing the world. For in doing so, not only are we fulfilling the law of Christ, but we too become fragrant aromas to God!

John 3:16

Once we were dead in our sins and eternally separated from God. But our Father in heaven, in His great love, wanted to be reconciled to His children. And so He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to become our perfect sin sacrifice. Now, through the blood of our Lord, we can once again be welcomed back into God’s open and loving arms. Never again will we be apart from His love, mercy, and blessings. And greatest of all, when we receive Jesus as our Savior, we are promised an eternity spend by His side!

February 10th – Romans 8:35

Romans 8:35

As fallen beings living in a fallen world, trials and tribulations will come to us all. And it’s during those times when we can feel that God has forsaken or abandoned us. But Paul reassures us that is a lie from the Enemy. For nothing, absolutely nothing, can separate us from Christ’s love. We may turn from Him, but the Lord will never turn away from us. Jesus experienced unimaginable suffering and died nailed to a Cross to give us His unconditional love. When we receive Him as our Savior, our bond to Him becomes unbreakable, and the love He has for us will never fail or diminish.
