When you set out to find God’s truth, He will reveal it to you in magnificent ways. Just look at the wise men. Knowing the Old Testament prophecy about the birth of the promised Savior, when they saw the Star of Bethlehem, they set out in search of the Messiah. Following the star in the east, led them to the child King. Because of their faith and belief in His Word, God rewarded them greatly by allowing them to see the Child, Jesus Christ, Redeemer of the world. And in response, they fell to their feet in worship and thanks.

December 1st – Matthew 1:21

Matthew 1:21

Joseph was in turmoil. His fiancé, Mary, was pregnant and worse yet, claiming to still be a virgin. Wanting to send her away, Joseph was approached by an angel of the Lord telling him to instead take Mary as his bride. Now other men might have been scared away. But not Joseph. He obeyed God and as a result was blessed with the awesome job of caring for God’s only begotten Son; Jesus Christ, Lord and Savior of the world. Oh how awesome is our Father in heaven who so richly blesses our obedience above anything we could ever imagine!

October 26 – James 1:17

James 1:17 

Every good thing in our lives is a direct result of the love and grace God shows to us. Even though we are worthy of nothing, He blesses us abundantly. Why? Not because we are good, but because He is. Once we receive Jesus as our Savior, we become adopted heirs into the kingdom of God. And to His children, the Lord loves to give generously. (Matt. 7:11) And we can rest assured that because God is never changing, He will always be faithful to bless, love, and provide for those He calls His own.
