Matthew 11:28

Did you know self care is an 11 billion dollar industry? Everywhere we go we are in inundated with a miracle pill, potion, meditation, or exercise. But the best care for our mind, souls, and body doesn’t cost a thing. It’s a free gift offered by God to those who rest in the Lord. An invitation in the hustle and bustle of life to take a moment to pause and surrender our burdens at His feet. Because resting in the Lord isn’t just a physical break, but a spiritual renewal. A chance to exchange our weariness for His yoke, which is easy, and His burden, which is light. Resting in the Lord’s embrace allows our souls to breathe, rejuvenating our spirits and preparing our hearts for the days ahead.
