Planting Seeds

October 7th – Luke 10:1-2

Luke 10:1-2

As believers we are workers in God’s field, entrusted with a sacred mission. For the Lord’s harvest is abundant and the need for laborers great. And many in this world are longing for spiritual guidance and the message of God’s love. Just as a farmer tends the soil, plants the seeds, and nurtures the crops to bring forth a fruitful harvest, so is our work for God. For the Lord is soon returning, and if we truly love others with a genuine Christlike love, we should wish for none to be left behind. We should want all to enter into the glory and love of God’s kingdom.

And although God hasn’t given everyone the calling of being a preacher, He has given us all the calling of sharing our stories. And there is no greater testimony than when we share our hearts, our love for  God, and all that He has done in our lives.

And if you’re anything like me, you can come up with a million reasons why it’s better to leave that job to others. …
