Salvation

A Spirit Of Self Sacrifice – (Romans 9)

Romans 9

The first eight chapters of Romans are also known as “the gospel according to Paul”. In these chapters Paul teaches that the only way to have a relationship with God and to receive salvation,  isn’t through good works or the Law, but rather grace through faith in Jesus Christ. December 23rd – John 3:16

John 3:16

No greater love can be shown to us, than the love given by God. He spared nothing to redeem us back to Himself, not even His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. And all He asks in return is our faith and love. So what happens when we believe that Jesus came to earth as God in the flesh, that He died and rose again, and receive Him as our Savior? 2 Corinthians 9:15

The best gifts are those that come from the heart. And there’s no better gift we could ever receive, than the one God offers to each of us. Once we were separated from God because of sin. But out of His great love He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to purchase our pardon through His shed blood and resurrection. Imagine that! God loves us so much, that He sacrificed His Son to reconcile us back to Him. And through that sacrifice the Lord offers us the gift of salvation, and a eternity spent in paradise at the side of the Master!
