Sanctuary

February 25th – Matthew 11:28

Matthew 11:28

We live in a fast paced, high stress world. Where everyone is in desperate need of rest and peace. So the tender invitation of Jesus who beckons the weary and burdened to come to Him for rest, is as refreshing as a beautiful oasis in a dry desert. With arms outstretched in compassion, He offers comfort to all who are burned out, overtired, and exhausted from life. Providing the rest needed in a chaotic world. In His presence we discover a sanctuary of peace, where the cares of the world fade away in the light of His grace. As we lay our burdens at Jesus’ feet, He gently lifts the heavy yoke from our shoulders. And replaces it with the lightness of His love. In the quiet refuge of His embrace, we find renewal for our souls as His love restores and replenishes us. With each step taken in His presence, we are reminded of the restorative power of His love. A love that calms the storms and soothes the restless heart. May we all heed the Lord’s call and find rest in His love. For in Jesus, we discover true peace for our weary souls.
