Saving Grace

April 22nd – Matthew 28:19-20

Matthew 28:19-20

Jesus didn’t just rise, He sent. He gave His followers, and now us, a mission. “Go and make disciples… baptize… teach… and know that I am with you always.” These words were His final instructions and our ongoing purpose. Such a love as was demonstrated by Jesus on the Cross, was never meant to be silent. So out of hearts overflowing with gratitude, we go. With deep reverence for Christ’s sacrifice, we share. And moved by love for our Savior, we scatter seeds for His kingdom. Seeds that, through His Spirit, will blossom into a harvest of transformed hearts, restored lives, and souls brought into His saving grace. And these things that we do aren’t done in our own strength, but with Christ’s authority. All to share the love that changed everything. The story doesn’t end at the empty tomb, it continues with us. Let’s go out with passion, purpose, and love. And live the Resurrection every single day!

September 30th – Psalm 145:4

Psalm 145:4

One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts.”

One of the problems this younger generation faces, is that most of them have never been taught about God. Who He is, His love for them, and the life saving grace He offers. By sharing our experiences of God’s goodness, love, and mighty works, we not only provide a foundation of faith but also inspire young people to seek a relationship with Him. A relationship that equips them with the spiritual wisdom and understanding necessary to navigate life’s challenges. When we bear witness to God’s work in our own lives and share His word with others, we become instruments of His love and redemption. This act of sharing not only strengthens our own faith but also has the potential to lead the lost to a saving relationship with God. In a world often marked by uncertainty and despair, the message of God’s steadfast love and salvation offers hope, comfort, and purpose. Thats why it’s our responsibility and privilege to proclaim His name, sharing the good news of His grace with a generation in need of His light.

March 10th – Matthew 5:13

Matthew 5:13

Not only a call from God, sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ is a blessing we as Christians get to have. And oh what an honor it is to experience the joy of leading another to a saving relationship with the Lord. But currently, the world in which we live is hostile to God and His teachings. Yet a world desperate for His saving grace all the same. And with the Lord’s soon return upon us, it’s important that we be the salt and light to a flavorless, rotten, and darkened society. How? To be the salt means to flavor the world with joy, love, and positive influences. While preserving and protecting what is good and right. To be the light means exposing the darkness and evil of Satan and his lies. Putting a spotlight on what is true and right. By shining our lights on God’s path to salvation, we bring the Lord’s assured hope of everlasting life to those who are lost and in despair. And how awesome is it that the Lord lets us work hand in hand with Him in growing His kingdom!

November 9th – Romans 10:14

Romans 10:14

I am thankful to have received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior

In the book of Joel we get a wonderful declaration from God. “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord, will be delivered.”(Joel 2:32) How awesome is that? But the apostle Paul teaches God’s promise comes with a condition. He warns that we can play the part of a Christian, confessing Jesus as Lord. But unless we truly believe it in our hearts, and show it in our actions, it isn’t genuine faith. And if our faith isn’t real, how can we call on Christ for deliverance? How can we turn to Him for help, if we truly haven’t made Him Lord and Savior of our lives? But then Paul goes one step further. How can anyone receive Jesus if they haven’t heard of Him? And how can they hear of Him if no one is preaching the saving grace of Jesus to them? Our loving Father promises victory to all who are truly His. And out of thankfulness for His saving grace, we need to share the message of that grace to others!

July 6th – Isaiah 61:10

Isaiah 61:10

What better cause do we have to rejoice, than knowing how generously the Lord showers us with gifts. And one of the greatest is the gift of salvation. Salvation has nothing to do with who a person is or what they do. Instead it is the result of God’s grace. No matter how hard we work, how much we obey, or how many good things we do in this life, none are enough to save us. No, salvation only comes through Jesus Christ and His saving grace. It is His blood that clothes us, covering us in His precious robe of righteousness. So no wonder our souls delight in the God of our salvation. The One who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. (Eph. 1:3) And all because we put our hope and faith in God and in His only begotten Son.

November 11th – Romans 1:8

Romans 1:8

There is nothing more rewarding than seeing someone you helped bring to Christ, declare Him as their Savior. That is the same joy Paul felt when writing to the Romans. The apostle gave thanks that they had they received Jesus, and their faith was being proclaimed in all the world. The greatest calling God gives to us is the same He gave to Paul. To boldly share the Good News of Jesus Christ throughout the world. God calls us to lead lives that shine brightly with His glory. So brightly, others are attracted to Him like moths to a flame. “Always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence.” (1 Peter 3:15) The sand in the hourglass is running out. Jesus will soon return. And out of hearts of thankfulness for His saving grace, we need to proclaim the Gospel while there is still time!
