James 1:17
In a world of instability where nothing stays the same, the unmovable nature of God stands as our eternal anchor. James describes God as the “Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.” What a beautiful truth to remind us that while chaos and confusion may surround us, God remains steadfast and unwavering, both in His character and promises. His unchanging nature brings comfort and hope, giving us an unshakable source of stability, no matter what life brings. And as our Father of lights, He radiates goodness, love, and blessings, consistently showering us with gifts that reflect His perfect nature. Gifts we do not deserve, but yet God so generously gives. So even in the midst of life’s challenges, no matter what Satan throws our way, we can trust in God’s unchanging faithfulness. For we know that every good and perfect gift comes from Him alone. And when we anchor our hearts to His eternal goodness, we’ll find peace, and security in His unchanging love and care.
