Week 5 – Strength In God (Psalm 28:7)
No matter what circumstances we find ourselves in, we can always find a reason to rejoice. Life may throw challenges our way, but we can take comfort in the truth of Psalm 28:7: “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and He helps me.” This verse reminds us that we never face anything alone. God is always by our side, offering His strength to sustain us and His protection to shield us from harm. Even in the darkest times, our hearts can sing with joy because we know that God is with us, guiding us through every problem and giving us the courage to keep moving forward. His presence is a constant source of comfort and peace, allowing us to face each day with hope. As we trust in Him, we find that our burdens are lighter, and our spirits are lifted, for we are not walking through life’s challenges on our own. With God as our strength and shield, we can face anything with confidence, knowing that He is helping us every step of the way.
Questions For Reflection –
- How can we cultivate a habit of trusting God as our strength and shield, especially during challenging times when we feel overwhelmed or afraid?
- In what ways can we train our hearts to rejoice in God’s presence and help, even when our circumstances are difficult, knowing that He is always by our side?
With God as our strength and shield, we can face anything with a heart full of joy. 🙏🏻❤️
