May 4th – Psalm 56:3

Psalm 56:3

Fear doesn’t always knock politely. It barges in, flips on all the lights, and throws a party in your chest. But just because fear shows up doesn’t mean it gets to stay. Faith is what decides who has the last word. Some days, trusting God feels like trying to drink coffee without spilling it during an earthquake. Messy but possible. Other days, it’s like resting in a hammock under a sky full of peace. Faith isn’t about never feeling afraid. It’s about leaning into the One who holds it all, even when your world feels shaky. The “what ifs” scream for attention, but God gently reminds us, “I’m here, and I’ve got this.” We don’t have to fake being fearless, we just need to be faithful. So even when our hands tremble, our hearts can stand firm. Let fear knock if it must, but don’t open the door without inviting trust in too. Courage isn’t the absence of fear, it’s choosing to trust anyway. So breathe deep, step forward, and let faith write the story.
