Elementary School Punishes Two year Old For Sharing Her Faith

The American Center for Law and Justice, is representing a student and her family in their demand for retribution from North Hill Elementary. According to Christina Compagnone, an associate counsel with the ACLJ, the two year old girl was sent to the principal’s office ten times since January for sharing her faith with classmates on the playground. “Not only were they scolding her for talking about Jesus to her classmates outside of instruction time, but they were stopping her at the entrance to the school every morning to inspect her backpack and remove any Christian tracts!” Compagnone added. Samaritan’s Purse To Set Up Emergency Field Hospital In Ukraine

North Carolina-based Samaritan’s Purse landed safely in Poland and materials for an emergency field hospital have been transported to Ukraine. According to a weekend update from the organization, the Samaritan’s Purse team is now in the process of setting up the facility. Based on recent assessments, the group will increase the capacity of its Ukraine field hospital, planning for two operating rooms with the capacity for 14 major surgeries or 30 minor surgeries per day, according to Samaritan’s Purse President Franklin Graham. There will be four wards with 50 inpatient beds and an emergency room that can handle 100 patients per day. Also included are four intensive care unit beds and four step-down beds. Iraqi Christian Murdered After Sharing Her Faith On TikTok

An Iraqi woman who recently converted from Islam to Christianity was found murdered on March 7 after she posted a TikTok video about her new faith, according to a religious liberty watchdog. The 20-year-old woman, Iman Sami, also known as Maria, was the daughter of a Muslim cleric, according to International Christian Concern (ICC). The murder took place after she posted a TikTok video showing herself singing Christian songs. ICC believes the murder likely was retaliation by her family. Her body was found in northern Iraq. Couple Finds Pearl Worth Thousands In Restaurant Clam

Michael and Maria Spressler were treated to more than dinner after dining at a local seafood restaurant. After biting into his clam dinner, Michael discovered a pearl. “I thought one of my molars cracked,” he said. At 8.8 millimeters, it’s a whopper, and the first one in as long as anyone at The Lobster House can remember being found. In its 100th year on the peer above the Cape, the restaurant staff were giddy at the news that their loyal customers had perhaps found a small fortune in one of their clams. People Booking Rentals Through Airbnb To Help Ukrainians

People looking to help Ukrainians from afar have been booking empty Airbnb rentals in Ukraine’s hardest hit areas, as a way to quickly send cash to the country under siege from Russian forces. In response, Airbnb waived the guest and host fees on bookings so the rental fees go directly to the Ukrainian hosts. “We are so humbled by the inspiring generosity of our community during this moment of crisis. Airbnb is temporarily waiving guest and host fees on bookings in Ukraine at this time,” the vacation rental app said in a statement. The idea has picked up momentum. Russia Plants Land Mines On Evacuation Route

A top International Red Cross official said on Monday that a proposed humanitarian zone in Mariupol, Ukraine, was lined with land mines. The latest sign of the struggle to allow women and children to flee Russia’s war on the country. Some Red Cross staff had tried to take the proposed route out of Mariupol before realizing that it was mined. Russian and Ukrainian officials have tried for days to agree to limited cease-fires that would allow women and children to evacuate to safer areas and give international aid workers safe passage to those needing care. Ukraine officials also called the Russian safe-corridor proposal a “completely immoral’’ trick, because the Kremlin’s proposed escape routes would funnel refugees into Russia or its ally Belarus, trapping Ukrainians once again. Danish Hobbit Hole Visitor Center Built In Side Of Hill

Lord of the rings fands rejoice. A visitor center that resembles a modern version of cozy Hobbit houses has been built into rolling green hills in Denmark. The visitor center is an architectural interpretation of the glacial landscape. It is not a destination itself, but part of an overall narrative. The building forms a natural starting point for hikes in the area, where a network of paths flows through both building and landscape. From here visitors are guided into the landscape or inside the center to the exhibition, the teaching facilities, or the café. Pat Robertson Says Putin Was Compelled By God To Invade Ukraine

Televangelist Pat Robertson said Monday that Russian President Vladimir Putin was “compelled by God” in his decision to invade Ukraine, suggesting that Russia’s attacks are a precursor to an end-times battle in Israel. Robertson returned to “The 700 Club” a few months after he retired from the show he hosted for 55 years on the Christian Broadcasting Network. In his return, Robertson claimed that Putin was simply following God’s wishes when Russia invaded Ukraine to fulfill a biblical prophecy. “I think you can say, well, Putin’s out of his mind. Yes, maybe so,” said Robertson, 91. “But at the same time, he’s being compelled by God. He went into the Ukraine, but that wasn’t his goal. Babi Yar Holocaust Site Bombed By Russia

Jewish groups and institutions around the world condemned a strike in Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, in the area of the Babyn Yar Holocaust Memorial Center, where tens of thousands of Jews were killed by the Nazis in a two-day massacre during World War II. Natan Sharansky, the chair of the memorial’s advisory board and a former Soviet dissident, said in the statement that President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia had sought “to distort and manipulate the Holocaust to justify an illegal invasion of a sovereign democratic country” and called the move “utterly abhorrent.” Mr. Sharansky added: “It is symbolic that he starts attacking Kyiv by bombing the site of the Babyn Yar, the biggest of Nazi massacre.” Read more about the missile strike here.

 

250,000 People Receive Jesus As Their Savior After Watching Luis Palau Film

More than 200,000 people around the world indicated they made a decision for Christ after watching a new evangelistic film produced by the Luis Palau Association that debuted online on the final day of 2021, the ministry said Wednesday. The 80-minute film, Light Your World, premiered online on December 31 and featured testimonies, a gospel presentation and music from Christian artists TobyMac and Maverick City Music. Andrew and Wendy Palau hosted it. All total, 245,000 viewers indicated a decision for Jesus Christ, with 21,000 requesting discipleship resources from the Luis Palau Association. WD 40 Fixes Clock Tower After Church Receives Repair Quote For $50,000

Grimsby Minster’s clock has been stuck at 12:02 for 12 years. Experts, including the firm working on Big Ben’s restoration, said it would cost $40,000 to $50,000 dollars to get it running again. But cheesemaker Rick and student Jay decided to have a go themselves. The clock mechanism is housed in a box on the wall of the bell-ringing chamber. And the pair, due to perform maintenance on the bells, decided to look at the clock workings at the same time. “We found various dead pigeons gumming up the bearings; some of the bearings were very dry,” Haywood said. “We gave it grease and WD-40 and managed to get it running,” Church leaders are calling the easy repair divine intervention. Christian Aid Groups Sending Aid To Ukraine

Local churches in Ukraine and Russia are launching a large-scale humanitarian outreach across Ukraine as war erupts around them and many suffer. And Christian aid groups are joining the cause and sending much needing supplies to the war torn area. Supported by U.S.-based Slavic Gospel Association (SGA), the church-driven emergency response will provide food, winter clothes, blankets and medicines for thousands of at-risk people, including orphans, abandoned children with special needs, the elderly, those uprooted by the conflict, and marginalized ethnic groups. Samaritan’s Purse, a Christian international humanitarian aid group led by evangelist Franklin Graham, is also involved in providing emergency relief to Ukraine from the neighboring countries. Pastor Survives After Being Stabbed Seven Times

Pastor Ivan Pitts at Second Baptist Church in Santa Ana is recovering after police say he was brutally attacked and stabbed outside his home in Long Beach. Pitts was in his driveway when a man came up to the pastor and asked him if he could ask a question and when Pitts acknowledged him, he stabbed Pitts seven times. Twice in the eye, four times in the back and once in the neck, shoulder area,” said Gardener. Pitts ran to a construction site nearby to get help from workers. They got a picture of the man’s license plate. Long Beach police say the suspect’s car was found by Huntington Beach police. Officers arrested the suspect. Pitts received surgery to repair three cuts to his left eyelid and a tendon. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis delivered a rousing speech at the opening day of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Orlando, Florida. There the Republican governor told the conservative attendees that people across the nation must put on the “full armor of God to stand firm against the left.” “Their goal is not to make our country great,” DeSantis told the crowd. “It’s to marginalize the conservative half of the country. They want us to be powerless. They want us to be voiceless. Christian record Label Signs TikTok Singer After Her Song Goes Viral

Katy Nichole, a Christian singer and songwriter, signed a record deal with Christian label Centricity Music after her debut single, “In Jesus Name (God of Possible),” went viral, garnering over 80 million views on TikTok. Before signing onto the label, Nichole’s song was played on the K-Love radio station, marking the first time in its 40-year history that the major Christian radio station debuted a song that went viral on social media. The song has reached well over 150 million people and has also reached the second highest position on the iTunes’ overall Top Songs chart while remaining No. 1 on the iTunes Christian & Gospel chart since the song’s release. the lyrics came from Katy’s prayer journal that were written during the pandemic, and in response to her own story of suffering, hope and healing. Israel Strongly Condemns Russia Attacks Against Ukraine

Knowing firsthand how it feels to have their exitance as a people and country threatened to be annihilated, Israel has strongly condemned the action of Russia and president Putin against Ukraine. “The Russian attack on Ukraine is a serious violation of the international order,” Foreign Minister Yair Lapid said. “Israel condemns the attack, and is ready and prepared to provide humanitarian assistance to the citizens of Ukraine.” Lapid added that “Israel is a country that has experienced wars, and war is not the way to resolve conflicts. New California Law Forces Doctors To Participate In Assisted Suicide

A new California law known as SB380, has doctors worried that they will be forced to go against their religious beliefs and participate in assisted suicide. now some concerned are suing the state for violating their religious liberty rights. Although the text of the law says physicians who object to assisted suicide “shall not be required to participate,” the law actually requires all doctors to participate at the beginning of the process, according to the suit. That’s because a doctor who opposes the law must still write the date of an individual’s request for end-of-life drugs “in the medical record” and then transfer the record “with documentation” to a “new health care provider or health care entity,” according to the law’s text. New Poll Shows Less Than Half Of Americans Trust Pastors

According to new data from Barna Research Group, less than half of American adults, including non-Christians, find pastors to be “very reliable” sources of wisdom when it comes to spiritual matters. The research, which asked whether pastors are seen as trustworthy sources of wisdom, found that 57 percent of Americans generally agreed that pastors were “somewhat” reliable and 23 percent of American adults agreed that pastors are “definitely” a “trustworthy source of wisdom.” Thirty-one percent of Christians said pastors are “definitely” trustworthy, while just four percent of non-Christians said the same thing. Less than half of Christians (44 percent) considered pastors to be “very reliable” when addressing spiritual matters, while another 39 percent found them “somewhat reliable.” Read more about the research here.

 

Research Shows Mental Speed Of Brain Slows Down Much Later Than Thought

Mental speed of our brain as we age slows down much later than previously thought. Psychologists at Heidelberg University have come to this conclusion. Under the leadership of Dr Mischa von Krause and Dr Stefan Radev, they evaluated data from a large-scale online experiment with over a million participants. The findings of the new study suggest that the speed of cognitive information processing remains largely stable between the ages of 20 and 60, and only deteriorates at higher ages. The Heidelberg researchers have hereby called into question the assumption to date that mental speed starts to decline already in early adulthood. Evangelist Franklin Graham has been criticized after he urged Christians to pray for Russian president Vladimir Putin amid rising tensions in the Ukrainian-Russian border. “Pray for President Putin today. This may sound like a strange request, but we need to pray that God would work in his heart so that war – and the loss of thousands of lives – could be avoided at all cost,” Graham wrote on his social media. But request sparked criticism from some. The pastor’s critics immediately went to work expressing outrage at the idea that he would pray for Russian President Vladimir Putin rather than President Biden or Ukraine even if it was to call for peace. Texas Attorney general Sues Christian Influencer For Scamming Clients

Brittany Dawn Davis, a fitness and Christianity influencer from Fort Worth, is being sued by the state of Texas for promising her followers personalized exercise and nutrition plans that never materialized. Davis’s website promised clients that her Brittany Dawn Fitness (BDF) crew would be with them “every step of the way”, but instead her followers received a generic diet and workout plan not unique to them. The state believes this amounts to “deceptive trade practices” and is seeking damages from $250,000 up to $1m. Davis has since pivoted to lifestyle and religious content. Discovery Plus Releasing Documentary About Hillsong Church Abuses

The interim global senior pastor of the embattled Hillsong group of churches is accusing producers of an upcoming docuseries of aiming “simply to hurt the church.” Speaking in a global simulcast this past Sunday, Pastor Phil Dooley claimed the docuseries, premiering March 24 on Discovery Plus, paints a picture “far removed from . . . the truth of who we are.” He added, “There are also producers behind this documentary and their purpose is not the healing of people, but simply to hurt the church.” Discovery Plus on Thursday released the trailer for its upcoming original three-part documentary series about Hillsong church, saying it will “explore the high-profile, star-studded church’s alleged exploitation, abuse and cover-ups” of the global movement. Obery M. Hendricks Jr., a religion professor at Columbia University, said last week that Christians who refuse to wear masks are possessed by “the spirit of antichrist.” “These folk are not fulfilling their gospel responsibility. They’re violating it. They’re spitting in the face of it,” Hendricks said. “It’s anti-biblical. It’s anti-Christian. Christian Crowdfunding Site Hacked, Donors Names Released

GiveSendGo, the “number one Christian crowdfunding site”, was being used by the protestors to raise funds with over $8.7 million donated so far. But the site was hacked, and users were redirected to a different domain, which featured a video condemning the website and the Freedom Convoy. A file revealing the identities of 92,845 donors was made available as part of the hack. The video the hackers redirected GiveSendGo to referred to the website as “grifters and hatriots”. “You helped fund the January 6th insurrection in the US. You helped fund an insurrection in Ottawa. Jonathan The Tortoise Named Oldest Land Animal

Jonathan, a Seychelles giant tortoise, will celebrate his 190th birthday this year at his home on the South Atlantic Island of St. Helena, a volcanic British Overseas Territory. According to the Guinness World Records, the event will make the reptile the oldest-ever living chelonian, the reptile order that includes turtles, terrapins and tortoises. Previously, the record was held by Tu’i Malila, a Madagascar radiated tortoise gifted to Tonga’s royal family in 1777 and died in 1965 at 188 years old. Jonathan arrived in St. Helena as a gift to Sir William Grey-Wilson in 1882, who later became governor of the island. To put Jonathan’s age into perspective, when Queen Elizabeth II’s great-grandmother Queen Victoria ascended the throne in 1837, the tortoise was already five years old. China Rewrites Textbook Having Jesus Stoning Woman

Communist party officials in China have rewritten one of the Bible’s most powerful accounts of Jesus Christ by claiming the Savior stoned to death the woman caught in adultery. The New Testament account is found in  John 8:3-11, and is completely altered to depict Jesus Christ as a murderer and sinner in a “professional ethics and law” text book used in Chinese vocational secondary schools. The book’s version of the account states, Jesus saying, “Let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone.’ Hearing this, they slipped away one by one. When the crowd disappeared, Jesus stoned the sinner to death saying, ‘I too am a sinner. 80 Year Nun Sentenced To A Year In Prison For Embezzlement Of $835,000

A nun who stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from a Los Angeles Catholic elementary school and went on Vegas gambling sprees is heading to prison. Sister Mary Margaret Kreuper, of Los Angeles, was sentenced Monday to one year and one day for fraud and money laundering charges. The 80-year-old nun also was ordered to pay a total of $825,338.57 in restitution for the money she embezzled while she was a principal at St. James Catholic School in Torrance, Calif. Prosecutors said Kreuper, diverted funds to pay for expenses that her order would never have approved, including large gambling expenses from casino trips and credit card charges she made from 2008 to September 2018. Christians Protest First Ever Satanic temple Convention

Christians in Scottsdale, Ariz., protested outside the inaugural convention of The Satanic Temple over the weekend, even as a prominent Catholic bishop urged believers to “refrain from participating in any public demonstration.” The Satanic Temple calls itself the “primary Satanic religious organization in the world,” even though the group itself is atheistic and believes in neither a literal God nor literal Satan. Instead, the Satanic Temple venerates the biblical Satan as a symbol of “defiance, independence, wisdom and self-empowerment.” SatanCon included “talks and presentations” that discussed the “various campaigns championed by The Satanic Temple,” according to a news release. For The First Time A Man With Severed Spinal Cord Walks Freely

In 2017, Michel Roccati was in a motorbike accident that left his lower body completely paralyzed. In 2020, he walked again, thanks to a breakthrough new spinal cord implant. The implant sends electrical pulses to his muscles, mimicking the action of the brain, and could one day help people with severe spinal injuries stand, walk, and exercise. It builds on long-running research into using electrical pulses to improve quality of life for people with spinal cord injuries, including a 2018 study by the same team that helped people with partial lower-body paralysis walk again. “It was a very emotional experience,” Roccati told journalists of the first time the electrical pulses were activated and he took a step. Report Claims Fauci Granted Taxpayer Dollars To Research Using Aborted Fetal Tissue

A report was released by the nonprofit organization, The White Coat Waste Project, suggests that millions of taxpayer dollars were used to fund research using the fetal tissue of aborted babies. “A new White Coat Waste Project (WCW) investigation has uncovered that the NIH (National Institute Of Health) is actively funding over $27 million of research approved to use Human Fetal Tissue, (HFT). That $27 million is just the beginning — the NIH expects to spend over $88 million total on HFT this year,” the group explained. So far, the NIH has spent $21.6 million on fetal tissue research, which accounts for 80 percent of the award granted to the agency by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), led by Dr. Anthony Fauci, to conduct these types of experiments. Facebook Restores Christian Ministries After “Incorrectly” Removing Them For Seven Days 

The head of Help 4 Families, a Christian ministry and its sister organization called Living Stone Ministries, which aim to help individuals and families seeking to live in accordance with Christian sexual ethics, said Facebook removed the organizations’ pages from its platform at the behest of LGBT activists. For seven days the ministries pages were unable to be accessed, and their pages were then taken down without notification. Following two inquiries from the Christian Post, late on Tuesday, a Facebook employee with knowledge of the matter said the pages were “incorrectly removed and [have] been restored.” Read more about the removal here.

 

80 Year Old Man Walks Through Blizzard To Rescue Three Cars Of People

Shannon St. Onge found herself in the thick of a blizzard on Monday evening, lost on a Saskatchewan road and peering out her rolled-down window for a glimpse of the road. But with the aid of a stranger in Vancouver who heard of her Facebook post asking for help, she and six others were saved. 80-year-old retiree, Andre Bouvier Sr., walked through the whirling snow to rescue St, Onge. On the way he found three other stranded vehicles, totaling seven people, and walking the quarter mile there and back, he led the helpless cars one by one to his home.
