February 26th – 2 Thessalonians 3:5

2 Thessalonians 3:5

No matter the trials the Thessalonians faced, Paul’s prayer was that the Lord would guide and direct them. For no matter the trouble, when we place our trust in God alone, we can endure. And by abiding in the steadfastness of Jesus, not only can we endure, but we can grow. Because it’s often in our times of hardship when we find God’s love the strongest. May we each place our love and trust in the Lord, and let Him guide, support, and love us through even the worst of situations. And watch as we come out the other side stronger, and closer to to the Lord!

Ambassadors who let Christ work through us to so that others can receive His precious gift of salvation.

Yet no matter the discord surrounding us, as members of the body of Christ, we can find peace in a world that is anything but. For when we surrender our lives to Jesus, and lay our worries at His feet, the Lord washes away the fear and worry in our hearts, flooding it with His peace, and love. Thank you Jesus for Your calming grace.

November 9th – Psalm 28:7

Psalm 28:7

Did you know that singing not only can boost your mood, but also alleviate anxiety and stress? David knew all about anxiety. Constantly chased by his enemies and a king who wanted him dead, the book of Psalms is filled with the cries of David for deliverance. But even when it seemed hopeless, he never gave up, never gave in to despair. Instead David remembered the promises of his Father in heaven, and trusted in His goodness. And from a heart filled with joy, sang songs of praise to God for His love and faithfulness.
