August 29th – Philippians 4:13
Week 5 – Strength In God (Philippians 4:13)
Life is undeniably hard. Just when we feel like we’re making progress, something comes along to knock us back down. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed, to think that the challenges we face might be too much to bear. But in these moments of struggle, we can take comfort in the promise of Philippians 4:13 in which Paul says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” While we may bend under the pressure, God ensures that we never break. He provides the strength we need to persevere through anything and everything. This strength isn’t about our own power or ability but comes from Christ, who empowers us to face every trial with courage and hope. When we rely on Him, we find that we are able to endure and rise again each time we fall. No matter how tough life gets, God’s strength is always available to carry us through, reminding us that we are never alone and that we can overcome any obstacle with His help.
Questions For Reflection –
- How can we remind ourselves daily to rely on Christ’s strength rather than our own when facing challenges or difficult situations?
- In what ways can we cultivate a mindset of perseverance and hope, trusting that with Christ’s strength, we can overcome any obstacle as promised in Philippians 4:13?
With Christ by our side, there’s no mountain too high and no challenge too tough. 🙏🏻❤️
