God’s Faithfulness

March 29th – 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24

Sanctification is the process by which God sets us apart from nonbelievers, to become holy. A task we cannot accomplish on our own. So God sends to us the Holy Spirit, who through His indwelling, is constantly working on us. Yet the goal of becoming reflections of Jesus can be a slow process. But if we don’t give up and completely trust God, change will happen. For we serve a God who is faithful in all things. And whatever He calls us to do, He will also provide the means to make it happen. So on that glorious day when we see Jesus face to face, we can hear Him say, “Well done My good and faithful servant!”

Hebrews 13:8

The world is constantly changing. And change can be good. Especially when it comes to changing ourselves for the better. But sometimes change can bring with it pain and disappointment. Yet no matter the circumstances we face, we can find confidence knowing that one thing always remains the same. And that’s Jesus. His grace, mercy, and blessings are the same today as they have always been. For He is the eternal God whose ways are everlasting. (Deut. 33:27, Hab. 3:6) In Him we can put our trust, hopes, and dreams. For His love endures forever!

February 12th – Jeremiah 31:3

Jeremiah 31:3

Because in His unfathomable grace and love, God wants nothing more than to have a close personal relationship with His children. That means no matter what we’ve done, or how far we’ve drifted from Him, when we come back to God in true humility and repentance, He will receive us with that same joy. Nothing, absolutely nothing can separate us from God’s love, so don’t walk, run back into His loving arms!

January 16th – Lamentations 3:40

Lamentations 3:40

The start of the new year is the perfect time to take stock in our relationship with God. Is it where it should be, a close, loving, personal relationship with the Lord? Or has it been on the back burner stunted by wrong things in our lives? Israel turned away from God, with devastating consequences. Yet when they sought to return to Him, God welcomed them back with open arms. And He longs to do the same with us. There is no more important relationship we have than the one we have with God. And when we turn to Him in love and repentance, He is faithful to to restore us back to Himself.
