John 1:14

The miracle of Easter didn’t begin at the empty tomb. It began when God Himself stepped into our world. Because of His great love, Jesus chose to walk among us, feel our pain, experience our struggles, and love us up close. He isn’t a distant Savior. He’s present, real, and near. And Easter is the beautiful reminder that God came for us. Not because we deserved it, but because His love wouldn’t leave us lost in our sin.

When Jesus took the Cross, He carried our shame, failures, and every burden we couldn’t bear. He took it all so that we could know freedom. And when He rose, He shattered every chain that tried to hold us down. The tomb is empty, and that changes everything. No matter how broken we feel, Jesus meets us in our mess. Just as He did when He walked this earth. Because of Easter, we are no longer defined by sin, but by grace. We are no longer bound by death, but alive in His victory. Today, let’s hold on to this truth. We are loved beyond measure, redeemed beyond reason, and free because of Jesus.

April 1st – Genesis 3:15

Genesis 3:15

From the very beginning, when sin first entered the world, God had a plan. In the Garden of Eden, as darkness crept in through Adam and Eve’s disobedience, God spoke a promise. A glorious promise of redemption, a promise of victory. Genesis 3:15 is the first glimpse of Easter, the first whisper of the Cross. Though sin brought separation, God refused to leave us in our brokenness. He declared that one day, the enemy would be crushed. And that day came when Jesus stepped into our world. On the Cross, He bore the weight of our sin, fulfilling the promise spoken in the garden.

The serpent struck His heel, but in His Resurrection, Jesus crushed the enemy forever. Easter is the fulfillment of that beautiful promise. The victory of love over sin, light over darkness, and life over death. Because of Jesus, we are no longer captives to sin. Because of Jesus, we have the hope of eternity. Thank You, Lord, for Your love that never gave up on us. Thank You for writing redemption into our story from the very beginning. Your plan is perfect, and Your grace is beyond measure.

Week 4 – Wisdom Against Temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13)

Every day, we face countless temptations. Everything from the subtle pull of envy, to the louder call of anger or greed. It’s a constant battle because temptation comes at us in many directions. Whether it’s from social media,  television or movies, relationships, or even in our own thoughts, the pull of sin is strong. But the apostle Paul reminds us of a powerful truth. God is faithful. He won’t allow us to be tempted beyond what we can bear, and He always provides a way out. This gives us hope and confidence that no matter the temptation, we are not fighting alone. That’s why God equips us with wisdom to recognize temptation when it sneaks into our lives, helping us avoid it before it leads us down a destructive path. The wisdom He provides guides us to make better choices and to steer clear of situations that could lead us to sin. When we rely on God’s wisdom and strength, we can overcome temptation and live in a way that honors Him, knowing we have His support in every battle.

In these last days before the return of Jesus, the apostle Paul encourages us to approach life with wisdom and mindfulness. He reminds us that every moment is a gift, and each opportunity holds significance. In a world filled with sin and distractions, it’s easy to just drift through life. But as followers of Jesus, we’re called to live intentionally. To make the most of every chance we’re given. Time is precious, and opportunities may come and go swiftly. By seeking God’s wisdom, we can navigate life’s decisions with clarity, ensuring that our actions align with His will. When we’re mindful of our time and choices, we not only honor God but also maximize our potential to impact those around us for good. Whether in our relationships, work, or personal growth, being purposeful in how we spend our days allows us to make a lasting difference. Life is too short to waste, so let’s approach each day with intentionality. And seek to bring glory to God in all that we do.

Week 2 – Wisdom From Heaven (James 3:17)

James compares worldly wisdom, which is often rooted in pride, selfish ambition, and sin, against godly wisdom, which comes from above and reflects God’s character. Worldly wisdom may appear attractive at first, offering quick success, power, or status. But ultimately, it leads to chaos, division, and strife. Because it’s focused on personal gain and often neglects the well-being of others. On the other hand, godly wisdom is pure, peace-loving, gentle, and full of mercy. It seeks harmony, promotes love, and builds others up. While the world teaches us to chase after our desires at any cost, God’s wisdom calls us to seek righteousness, humility, and peace. This wisdom produces good fruit in our lives, leading to peace, kindness, and a deeper relationship with God and others. True wisdom is not just knowledge, but a heart aligned with God’s will. It’s a gift we should pursue through prayer, surrender, and obedience to Christ’s teachings. Living in godly wisdom brings a peace that worldly wisdom can never offer.

Week 1 – The wisdom In Humility (Proverbs 11:2)

The ancient Greeks had a term, “hubris,” to describe the dangerous overconfidence that often led to downfall. It was a warning against the arrogance that can blind us to our own limitations and the consequences of our actions. Proverbs 11:2 echoes this timeless truth, reminding us that “When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.” Hubris, or pride, is often the root of many failures. It clouds our judgment and often leads to reckless decisions. But humility opens the door to wisdom, allowing us to recognize our need for guidance and correction. When we approach life with humility, we are more receptive to learning, growing, and making sound choices. Wisdom and humility go hand in hand, as one can’t truly exist without the other. By acknowledging our limitations and seeking wisdom from God and others, we can avoid the pitfalls of pride. And build a life grounded in understanding and grace, instead of one filled with regret.

Week 4 – Living In God’s Love (1 John 3:1)

Once we were enemies of God, separated by our sin and rebellion. But in His boundless mercy and love, God did something incredible. He saved us through the precious blood of His Son, Jesus. Think of that! God didn’t just rescue us. He went even further, calling us His very own beloved children. No longer are we outsiders or adversaries, but cherished members of a heavenly family. Living in His love, and sharing in His eternal inheritance. This is a reality so profound that the world cannot fully understand it. They may see our faith, but they cannot grasp the depth of our relationship with God. A relationship rooted in grace, love, and a new identity as His children. We belong to a family that transcends earthly ties, united by the love of God, who sees us not as we were, but as we are now, redeemed and beloved. This transformation is the heart of the Gospel, a mystery that the world may never fully understand but one that we, as God’s children, get to live out every day.

  1. How can we embrace and live out our identity as God’s beloved children, allowing this truth to shape our self-worth and daily interactions with others?

Week 4 – Living In God’s Love (1 Peter 4:8)

Love has the incredible power to heal, forgive, and restore, especially the kind that reflects God’s unconditional love for us. It overlooks faults and can bring reconciliation where there’s been hurt. That doesn’t mean love ignores sin or condones wrong behavior, but rather it seeks to forgive and to build bridges instead of walls. This kind of love is patient and kind, bearing with one another’s imperfections and choosing to see the best in others. It’s the love that Jesus demonstrated on the cross, where He took on the sins of the world, offering forgiveness and grace in abundance. When we love others with this Christlike love, we participate in God’s redemptive work, covering over the offenses that might otherwise divide us. It’s a love that brings unity, peace, and healing, allowing relationships to thrive despite the inevitable mistakes we all make. This love, covering a multitude of sins, creates an environment where grace can flourish. Where people are uplifted rather than torn down, and where the light of Christ shines brightly through us.

We often worry about the surety of our salvation, haunted by the lingering effects of sin, guilt, or shame. These doubts can lead us to fear that God might withdraw His love or take away His promise of an eternity spent by His side. But in Romans 8:38-39, Paul gives us a profound assurance. There is nothing, absolutely nothing, that can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Neither death nor life, angels nor demons, the present nor the future, nor any powers, height, depth, or anything else in all creation can sever us from His love. This isn’t just a comforting thought, it’s a divine guarantee. God’s love for us is unshakeable, unbreakable, and eternal. Our salvation isn’t dependent on our own strength, but secure in the hands of God. No matter what trials or temptations we face, we can rest in the certainty that God’s love will never fail us. This truth allows us to live with confidence and peace, knowing that nothing in the universe can ever take us away from the embrace of our loving Father.

Week 3 – Embracing Renewal (Psalm 51:10)

Like David, we all struggle with sinful hearts. David’s heart had been filled with lust for Bathsheba, murderous designs for Uriah, and rebellion against God. The weight of his sins led him to a place of deep guilt, grief, and remorse. Realizing the darkness within him, David longed for a new heart. One that was not only cleansed but also transformed, filled with love for God and a deep hatred for evil. He knew that only God could perform the spiritual heart surgery he so desperately needed. And so David cries out, “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” This plea reflects a profound desire for renewal, a longing that is deep within all of us. We, too, seek that divine intervention in our lives. We recognize the sin in our hearts and the brokenness it brings, and we yearn for God to cleanse us, renew us, and give us hearts that reflect His love and righteousness. Like David, we need God’s transformative power to turn our hearts from sin to purity, from rebellion to obedience, and from despair to joy.
