Jericho Marchers Gather In Washington DC

Upset with the recent election results, religious supporters of President Donald Trump kicked off a “Jericho March”, marching around the U.S. Capitol. The march was intended to imitate the Israelites march around the city of Jericho in the Book of Joshua. Many also blew shofar’s in protest to what they feel is a stolen election. Jericho Marchers plan to lead another procession on Wednesday, where they hope “God will reveal the truth.” Read more about the march here.

 

No Charges Filed Against Late Abortion Doctor Who Kept Over 2000 Baby Parts From Abortions 

Dr. Ulrich Klopfer, who performed tens of thousands of abortions over the course of his decades-long career, kept aborted baby parts in his Indiana home. He was also routinely accused of medical malpractice and had his license suspended in 2016 after multiple licensing actions and criminal charges. Yet Indiana’s top prosecutor announced Wednesday that he would file no criminal charges or licensing actions after his office completed an investigation. Peru Christians Swept Downstream During Baptism

As a Christian, one the most powerful experiences we have is when we get baptized. But for a Peruvian woman getting baptized by her brother in a local river, it was a harrowing and possibly life ending event. After Rosa Jiménez Bartolo lowered herself slowly into the hip-high water and started to rise, she lost her balance and the river swept her forward, knocking over her brother. A Rare “Triple Conjunction” Of Planets Occurs In January 

For those who missed or were unable to see the “Bethlehem Star” in December, a new chance to see an astronomical wonder will happen this month. if you look up at the night sky on January 10 you will be able to see a rare ‘triple conjunction’ of planets, as Jupiter, Saturn, and Mercury form a tight triangle in the sky. Singing the old bible hymns is an important part of the church service. But now due to the closing of places of worship, and the banning of singing, Christian’s have found a new way to hear their favorite hymns. Hymnary.org, an online hymn and worship music database, says users of the online database has doubled nearing 40 million page views for 2020, its highest ever. Read more about the website here.

 

Thousand Take To The Streets In Argentina To Celebrate Abortion

In a sad display of celebration for killing the unborn, thousands to took to the streets in Argentina. Previously, abortion was legal only in cases of rape or if the mother’s health was in danger. But now a new law legalizes abortion through the 14th week of pregnancy. After the vote, President Fernández tweeted: “Today, we’re a better society, which widens women’s rights and guarantees public health.” Read more about the decision here.

 

Billy Graham Book Gets A Reprinting

In his 1981 book, Till Armageddon, Billy Graham examined the issue of suffering. Now in a year filled with its own suffering, loss, and tragedy, the late evangelist’s publishers thought this would be an especially appropriate time to reprint it, but with a new title, Who’s In Charge Of A World That Suffers? Teacher Laid Off After Twenty years Gets Winning Lottery Ticket

Joe Camp was a preschool teacher for 20 years in North Carolina before losing his job. Then a month later, his father died. Every Thursday, Camp buys two scratch off lottery tickets and this time his luck paid off. Camp was a winner of a 250,000 dollar jackpot. He took the lump sum payout of $176,876 after paying state and federal taxes. He plans to buy a new home for him and his daughter, as well as save for her education. China Closes Churches And Bans Singing

Chinese Christian say the worst crackdown on religion since the country’s Cultural Revolution, is currently happening. In an attempt to shut down Christmas, the Chinese government shut  down churches, banned singing, and even removed crosses from the buildings. Even though China tells its citizens the pandemic has been defeated, the government used COVID-19 as a reason for the shut downs this holiday season. Read more about the crackdown here.

 

Officer heard Voice Of God Before Bombing

Officer James Wells, one of the heroic Nashville police officers who helped evacuate people moments before the Nashville explosion, is crediting God with speaking to him and saving his life in the process. Moments before an RV with a suicidal man inside exploded, Wells says he heard God tell him to turn around and go check on a fellow officer. that move saved him from being injured by the blast. Christian Pakistani’s Flee Homes After Facebook Post Angers Muslims

Hundreds of Pakistani Christian families fled a Lahore neighborhood ahead of Christmas after a mob of Muslims threatened to set fire to their homes, an international Christian group has reported. The mob threatened the Christians after a local pastor posted a faith-based message on social media angering Muslims. Homeless Man Hailed as A Hero After Saving Animals

When Keith Walker, 53, saw the kitchen on fire at the local animal shelter where he was staying, he rushed in without a thought to his own safety. Called a guardian angel by the buildings owner, Walker was able to rescue all the animals, six dogs and 10 cats. He was quoted as saying, “I was really scared to go in there with all that smoke. Nashville bomber Identified As Anthony Quinn Warner

The man suspected of being behind the bombing  in Nashville is believed to have died in the explosion, federal authorities have said. Sunday DNA samples recovered from the scene matched those of Anthony Quinn Warner, 63. Three people were injured in the explosion early Friday and dozens of buildings were damaged. Several Church Buildings Burned In Sudan From Arson

Some Bout area Muslims were upset about the presence of the churches in Sudan, and they are suspected in the burning down of the buildings. The extremists also threatened to kill congregation members if they put up another tent and continue worshipping, sources said. Sexual Allegations Against Ravi Zacharias Confirmed

Less than a year after his death, Ravi Zacharias International Ministries, an Alpharetta-based organization founded by Christian apologist Ravi Zacharias has released a statement confirming allegations of sexual misconduct made against the late spiritual leader. Massage therapists at day spas co-owned by Zacharias said he would come in for back pain treatment and engaged in unwanted sexual behavior. Read more about the allegations here.

 

After Toys Were Stolen From A Public Housing Complex, Community Steps In

When around 200 hundred Christmas toys were stolen from a Texas Public Housing Complex, San Antonio residents stepped in and donated over 2000 presents and 18,000 dollars in cash. The gifts were intended for the children at Alazan-Apache Courts, one of San Antonio’s poorest neighborhoods. Joni Eareckson Contracts Covid-19

Beloved author and disabilities advocate Joni Eareckson Tada, has tested positive for COVID-19 and is currently receiving monoclonal antibodies treatment, her ministry announced. Tada also shared an update on Facebook thanking supporters for praying for her and her husband Ken. As she begins her road to recovery, Tada was quoted as saying, ” I keep thinking of the untold numbers of people with disabilities all around the world who do not have access to medical help.”  Read more about her diagnosis here.

 

2021 National Prayer Breakfast Will Be Held Virtually

The National Prayer Breakfast will be a virtual event next year due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The gathering has been held annually, usually on the first Thursday of February, for nearly seven decades and draws thousands of attendees from around the world. The virtual 2021 breakfast will be streamed online, confirmed A. Israeli Face Mask Eliminates 99% Of Coronavirus 

Medical tests have shown that SonoviaTech masks, made in Israel, are effective against COVID-19 and other viruses and bacteria. Tests at the internationally accredited ATCC laboratory in Israel found that Sonovia’s SonoMask eliminated 99.4% of SARS-COV2 (the virus that causes COVID-19) within just 30 minutes of exposure. Additional tests at the European Union Authorised Hygcen laboratory in Austria showed that Sonovia masks provide more than 99% efficacy against the tested virus. 65 year old Grandmother Diana Boldman and her husband Cameron wake up to deliver newspapers across their home town of Idaho Falls. Once she’s finished the paper route, Diana then goes to McDonald’s to put in a shift at her full-time job there. So she was stunned when a serect santa presented her with a new 2019 Hyundai Tucson, $5000 in gift cards for gas and a check for $1000 to cover the cost of the new car’s registration. Over 30,000 Christians Have Been Killed In Nigeria Since 2009

Nigeria has been in the news again with the recent kidnapping of another group of school children. Yet sadly the violent murder of Christians in the country are nothing new. According to a new report by Nigeria’s International Society for Civil Liberties & the Rule of Law, thousands of Christians are being martyred for their faith while the country’s government are stating other reasons for their deaths. Is It Ethical For Christians To Receive The Covid-19 Vaccine

Pro-life Christians have raised concerns over whether its ethical to receive the Covid-19 vaccine. Because the development during the testing phase involved the use of cell lines taken from the tissue of an aborted baby, they feel receiving the vaccine could make believers morally complicit in the act of abortion. The Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention has weighed in on the issue. Read their response here.

 

Christmas Cancelled In The U.K.

After saying just three days ago he said it would be “inhuman” to cancel Christmas, Saturday Boris Johnson canceled Christmas for millions of Brits. The U.K. prime minister announced a new lockdown in London and south-east England, called “Tier 4”, that will prevent people from mixing with other households and close non-essential shops until at least the end of December. Johnson said the restrictions were due to a new strain of COVID-19 which is was up to 70 percent more transmissible. Read more about his decision here.

 

Teens Save Children Who fell Into Frozen Pond While Sledding

When a group of New Jersey teens saw two children fall into an icy pond, they jumped into action. Immediately the boys leaped into the water and formed a human chain to rescue  8-year-old Olivia Heid and her 4-year-old brother R.J. from the chilly water. The heroic teenagers said their Boy Scout training prepared them well. As you can imagine, the parents of the rescued children were beyond grateful for this Christmas gift. Lauren Diagle Dropped From “New Years  Rockin’ Eve”

Popular Christian pop star Lauren Daigle, has been removed from the lineup of “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve,” the musical countdown to the New Year. In early November, Daigle performed at a “Let Us Worship” rally in New Orleans which was held in response to pandemic restrictions on churches. Because of which, New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell, wrote a letter to Dick Clark productions saying she could not “in good conscience” support Daigle’s involvement in the broadcast. Joel Osteen Defends Receiving Government PPE Money For Church

Multimillionaire televangelist Joel Osteen’s Lakewood Church in Texas netted $4.4 million in bailouts. And now the pastor is defending the move. Lakewood’s PPP check went to 368 full- and part-time employees, spokesman Donald Iloff told the Houston Business Journal. The paper added that about 1,500 religious organizations in the Houston area were approved for PPP loans, with 20 receiving loans of more than $1 million. Read more about the controversy here.

 

Christian Man Acquitted Of Blasphemy In Pakistan

A Christian man in Pakistan has been acquitted of blasphemy and released from prison after serving 10 years of a life sentence. Imran Ghafur Masih, is now in hiding with his family due to potential threats from extremists. Masih was arrested after a neighbor falsely accused him of burning a Quran. His release was a surprise for Imran’s family who said, “It is a day of resurrection for us. God has heard our cry and we are very thankful to him. Cancer Ward Sets Up Wedding For cancer Patient

Due to the pandemic, those wanting to get married had to change their wedding plans. But when nurses at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale saw cancer patient Samantha Preston’s engagement ring, they went into action. In only three days, the staff arranged a wedding in an area at the hospital traditionally used as a gathering spot for families into a beautiful venue for the couple to tie the knot. Mohler endorses Covid-19 Vaccines

How do you feel about taking the Covid-19 vaccine? Are you eager or afraid? President of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, Albert Mohler, says he’ll be the first in line when the covid-19 vaccine is available in his area. On his website, Mohler lists seven moral principles for Christians to consider when studying the usage of vaccines, including doing it for the good of society. Read more of his reasoning here.

 

Anti Trafficking Ministry Wins Victory

In an age when pornography is readily available, even to minors, the anti-trafficking ministry, Exodus Cry, is celebrating significant progress in its fight to take down the world’s largest porn site, Pornhub. Videos of assault involving underage girls, rape, and other exploitative content continue to be posted and reposted on the user-generated porn site, and the ministry was able to get the site to remove a majority of these heinous videos. Beth Moore Caught Up In Trump Controversy

Popular evangelical Bible teacher Beth Moore is drawing both flak and praise after delivering a stern warning to Christians against Trumpism, which she called “astonishingly seductive & dangerous.” The “Living Proof” evangelist took to Twitter Sunday to write that she had never seen anything in the United states more dangerous. The tweets were met with some criticism, with one user writing, “Lots of empty words in this thread. Gunman Killed After Shooting At Christmas Concert

A choir that had just finished Christmas caroling at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine was standing on the cathedral steps when a gunman who had two handguns, approached the church doors and opened fire into the air, police said. Thankfully no one was hurt, but the gunman was shot and killed by responding police officers. Witnesses told police the man was yelling “kill me” as he fired. Read more about the shooting here.

 

Joe Biden’s Son Under Investigation By Department Of Justice

President-elect Joe Biden’s son revealed last week that the Justice Department is investigating his taxes, but a subpoena seeking documents from Biden asked for information related to more than two dozen entities. The investigation started in 2018, and president Trump has blasted Attorney General Bill Barr for keeping the investigation under wraps during the recent Presidential campaign. First Doses Of Covid-19 Vaccine leaves Michigan

Trucks carrying the first shipment of covid-19 vaccines left early Sunday morning from Portage carrying 1.95 million doses of the vaccine. Each vial of the vaccine includes five doses, the company said. And 975 vials fit in each of its insulated boxes. A total of 400 boxes were loaded onto those trucks. Health care workers and those in nursing homes will be the first to receive the vaccine. Good Samaritan pays off 65,000 Dollars worth of Walmart Layaway

In a wonderful display of Christmas spirit, customers of the Bristol Tennessee Walmart had tears of joy after finding out their layaway was paid in full. The anonymous donor was reported as saying, “Please tell them Merry Christmas and I love them.” After asking the store manager the amount due in layaway items, the good Samaritan later returned with the full 65, 000 dollars owed by customers in cash. U.K’s, Margaret Keenan, was the first person to receive the new covd-19 vaccine. The 90 year old was quoted as saying, “I feel so privileged to be the first person vaccinated against Covid-19. Christmas Star To Appear On December 21st

For the first time in nearly 800 years, a rare Christmas star will light up the sky at the start of this month’s winter solstice. When they got a positive response for dropping off their baked goods to essential workers, they decided to start, “Cookies for Caregivers”.
