Jesus Christ

November 28th – Psalm 50:14

Psalm 50:14

Any true and good thing we have in our lives is a gift from God. And while it’s important to thank Him with our lips, what the Lord really wants is to see our gratitude in action. He wants us to become living sacrifices of thanksgiving. How? By walking in truth, love, grace, and mercy. We are Christ’s ambassadors on earth, and from hearts overflowing with gratitude, the same blessings He so generously gives to us, we should be showing to others. Jesus willingly became a sacrifice for us, shouldn’t we joyfully do the same in return?

November 22nd – Colossians  3:16

Colossians  3:16

God never intended the Christian walk to be a solo one. We are all members of a divine family, and us such we are meant for fellowship with one another. Why? Because a big part of growing in our relationship with the Lord depends on the encouragement, love, grace, and teaching from other Believers. We are brothers and sisters in Christ, that make up God’s heavenly choir. A choir which sings in harmony together, songs that spring forth from hearts overflowing with thankfulness for all the Lord does and all He is.

Deuteronomy 10:21

We live in a world that loves to idolize. Whether it be a favorite celebrity, athlete, or political leader, society loves to put on a pedestal those we feel are the end all and be all. Imperishable, immortal, magnificent bodies, which will be the perfect images of our Lord. Thanks be to God, for His Son has stolen both the victory and the sting of sin forever!

November 16th – Psalm 44:8

Psalm 44:8

When someone asks me about my faith, my heart practically bursts at the seams with joy. I can’t wait to tell them of all the ways God works in my life. My heart can’t help but brag of the wonderful things the Lord has and continues to do each day for me. November 6th – 2 Corinthians 9:15

2 Corinthians 9:15

The best gifts are those that come from the heart. And there’s no better gift we could ever receive, than the one God offers to each of us. Once we were separated from God because of sin. But out of His great love He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to purchase our pardon through His shed blood and resurrection. Imagine that! God loves us so much, that He sacrificed His Son to reconcile us back to Him. And through that sacrifice the Lord offers us the gift of salvation, and a eternity spent in paradise at the side of the Master!
